Jackson Township here is the Stark County township between Massillon, Canton, North Canton, and Green. It is not a city, and it is not some other Jackson Township in Ohio. Belden Village, around Everhard Road and the Strip, is the landmark people use when they give directions.
The mail is the tricky part. A house in the township may show a Massillon, Canton, or North Canton ZIP. It is still its own stop, east of the shop in Canal Fulton and inside the hour we drive. Say “Jackson Township” if that is what the street is, even when the post office name is a neighboring city.
